SA Air Compressors

PORTABLE DIESEL COMPRESSORS

Our Portable Diesel Compressor range is manufactured by European Standard II with energy-saving automatic servo throttle control. The Portable Diesel Compressors are available in KW power rating from 60KW to 500KW and and air deliveries and pressures up to 1500CFM at 40Bar.

The air filtration system is designed for very harsh work environments and the engine and air-ends are protected from dust and dirt ingress by heavy duty intake filters. The intake design has been optimized to considerably enhance service life and reliability of the system.

POWERED BY THE RELIABLE CUMMINS® ENGINES AND OPTIONAL GHH AIR-ENDS

Large enclosure doors provide accessibility to the components for unrivaled ease of maintenance. Service and maintenance work can therefore be performed quickly and efficiently. This means maximum productivity and compressed air availability.

FEATURES

CONTROL PANEL
Newly developed control panel– Designed with a 3.4inch colour display panel and with IP65 protection, the system can be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -20C to 70C. Easy operation, clear display and real-time data display.

FUEL SYSTEM
Standard equipped fuel filter efficiently extends the operational life of the high-pressure fuel pump and injectors from damage. The large capacity fuel-tank provides storage for enough fuel for up to 8 hours operation.

ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATING TEMPERATURES
Detroit Air mobile compressors can be used in ambient temperatures ranging from -10C to 50C, a version suited for use at lower ambient temperatures is also available on request.

OPTIMIZED COOLING SYSTEM
Large-diameter low speed cooler-fan provides large volume of air flow, with low noise and good cooling performance. The efficient cooling system is designed to be used in ambient temperatures up to 50C. Non-welded connection of oil cooler and engine radiator protects from thermal stress damage and extends service life greatly. Superior heat exchange efficiency achieves a reduction of between 8C to 10C in the after-cooling stage.
